Approx.  15.1 hand QH mare

Est. year of birth: 2002

Cherie was rescued through our partnership with Front Range Equine Rescue. She was pulled from a slaughter feedlot in May of 2017, and was severely crippled in her front end at the time due to poor farrier care. With a good trim and some properly fitted shoes, she is much more comfortable and moving around with ease.

Within a short time of being here, we noticed her belly beginning to rapidly expand, and sure enough, she is with foal! We are currently expecting a baby at any time this August.

Cherie and her foal will be available for adoption separately after the baby is weaned this winter, and we get a chance to evaluate Cherie for a potential riding career.
